This tent worked well for our Uintas backpacking trip. It was lightweight enough at about 4lbs. and was plenty of room for one person. My son and I shared one also and we fit just fine, but my recommendation is to use this as a one person tent. I like that the tent cover goes all the way to the ground and does not leave any exposure to any rain on the main part of the tent. Also, on a star lit night, the entire top of the tent is mesh...so visibility is awesome.
Bought this to throw in my backpack for quick weekend trips. Overall it is not a bad tent for the price. does what its supposed to, keeps you dry and out of the elements. I did find that the included rain fly is made out of a somewhat reflective material and keeps body heat in pretty well. i found that with two people in the tent it is kind of crowded but perfectly acceptable for backpacking.
Where can I find replacement clips for the read pole? All but one of mine has broken.
